I wanted to give you a quick roundup of what’s been happening with us recently because there’s been quite a lot going on behind the scenes.
Firstly, after many years with us, one of our long-standing tenants is moving out of the property on Weston Road. It’s always a bit of a milestone when someone who’s been with us for a long time moves on, but the good news is that we’ve already successfully secured a new tenant for that room, so there won’t be any downtime there.
Over at Nelson Road, we’ve also had great demand for our higher-end accommodation. We’ve now got a second tenant moving into Room 2, which is one of our luxury HMO rooms. It’s great to see that the standard of accommodation we’re offering is really resonating with people looking for something a bit more premium.
On the team side of things, we’re really pleased to welcome a new handyman who has recently started working with us. As we continue to grow, having the right people in place to maintain our properties and respond quickly to issues is really important, so we’re excited to have him on board.
We’ve also got a major project underway at Jeyes Road, where we’re carrying out a full roof replacement. It’s a big job, but it’s all part of making sure the property is protected long term and maintained to the highest standard.
You may also have noticed that we’ve really stepped up our presence on social media recently. We’re trying to share more updates, more behind-the-scenes insights, and more information about what we’re doing day to day.
