At TMG Lettings, we believe regular checks are an important part of maintaining not only our properties but also the wellbeing of our tenants. This month, we carried out our six-month reviews across all of our rooms to ensure they remain compliant with health and safety and fire regulations.
We’re pleased to report that all 25 rooms are being well cared for, with no obstructions to fire exits and tenants keeping their spaces in great condition. These inspections also help us pick up on smaller maintenance issues — such as extractor fans not working or bathroom light bulbs that tenants can’t change themselves. By addressing these quickly, we ensure our tenants continue to enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment.
These reviews also give us an opportunity to check in personally with our tenants. It’s important to us that everyone feels supported, and we always welcome feedback on how we can further improve our services.
Alongside tenant care, we’ve also been focusing on our role in the management of Tweedy Road, particularly around setting the budget for 2025/26. This has involved working closely with the management company to prioritise essential projects for the building, while balancing the needs of a listed property with the improvements we’d like to see in the future.
