This month I completed my Successful Mums training course and I am waiting on the examination result. I have found the course thoroughly enjoyable and I have been able to spend time thinking about and reflecting on the new business. I found that having the accountability has given me the nudge to consider all my options and see the positive and negatives of this new venture. As many of you will know, working for yourself at home can be quiet isolating.
In Wigan, we have some rent arrears so we are working with the tenant to ensure these are paid back in an affordable way. The leak has also been looked at by the management team and I have chased their report. The HMO's are doing well and continue to be a superb business stream for TMG. The single let's are also going well with a few maintenance issues which have been resolved with some work to the external walls and drainage set up.
We did use our Easter break to find some sunshine with the family and we had a well deserve rest and quality time together. For us, getting away from the business and school routine has always been a key element to our successes, and we feel that it reignites the business flame!
