As we end April 2023 we are pleased to confirm that all the flats are now tenanted. It is such a great feeling to know that the flats are now occupied and providing a home to their new tenants. We had a few teething issues such as access to the refuse area and tenants not being able to use the switches to operate the appliances in the kitchen but the letting agent quickly resolved these and we have 5 happy tenants!
We have made the decision to employ a cleaner and she cleaners bi-weekly. It is a great way to make sure the communal space is kept looking its best and also sets a precedence to the tenants about the how we expect them to treat our building and their private living space.
We are still considering what to do as our next step and we are currently looking at all our options. We have been presented with a number of property conversion opportunities in several UK areas, and we have been approached to manage a refurbishment process for another investor who has the money to invest but no time to run a project.
There are a number of things to consider when deciding on our next step but working for myself has huge benefits and one of those was to be with my young family over their school Easter break enjoying days out and seeing them grow. It makes the sacrifices and long hours worth it when you get moments to treasure with your family,
