We are due to be been given the keys to Wallgate, Wigan at the end of October, and the project is finally finished! I went to visit site and carry out the snagging and handover and it is a real achievement to see the tired office block turned into 5 luxury apartments. We have the internal elements completed down to the door numbers on each apartment and the letter boxes are ready in the lobby for the new tenants. All the utility connections are done (and I say this with a huge sigh) and therefore we have sent the certificates off to our architect who will send these and his documents to building control to get ensure we achieve sign off!
The letting company have plans to take the photos and create floor plans at the end of the month and get these apartments on the rental market. We expect these apartments to be secured by the new tenants very quickly as we have all confidence in Regan and Hallworth lettings team.
Our future plans is to progress and progress fast but right now we are not to purchase anything as we feel that the market will offer some great property opportunity very soon. We want to sit tight and see what the new few weeks and months offer us.
