This month we have exchanged and completed on Wallgate, Wigan. Bannan and Sulley have purchased an office over two floors in Wigan town centre. We have permission to convert this space into 5 flats with a communal entrance hall on ground level where the utility meters, bike and bin stores will be located.
Initially we have the asbestos survey is being carried out so we know what we are dealing with in regards to a safe strip out, and what needs to be report to the HSE. There is a lead time of 14 days with the HSE. We also have to confirm the location of the incoming water and electrical supplies so we can get a quote to increase the main supplies, and start work for the new incoming utility mains.
We are looking at new projects such as Oldham for a 7 bed flat and 9 HMO pub conversion plus a terrace house that has planning permission for 7 flats in a residential area of Stoke on Trent. We are waiting for the builder and finance broker to confirm the figures before I progress with the purchase.
This month we have a new addition to the Sulley family so we are not only getting used to a new routine in our family but we are to launch Bannan and Sulley Developments to the world! Watch this space …
