The builders have made great progress with the soft pull out and we have stud walls being erected which gives us an idea of the flat layout. Finally the project has really begun to get momentum.
I have had the great task of contacting the utility companies to try to get all three accounts (gas, water and electricity) in the name of Bannan and Sulley Developments. It has been horrendous as I have a lease that does not match the details on the national database so I have had to make changes with the VAO. I have found that it is a lengthy and laborious task to get one department to conduct some work to get the next step in motion. Plus I have to increase the pipe feed for water and electricity which is tough given the location of the site and nearing Christmas.
We are appraising a project in Hindley and it is looking like we will move forward with it after good feedback from local agents. A first for us is to pay an agent for a report the rental and sale figures as this building includes 5 retail units.
