TMG find themselves still in this unusual 2020 situation but we are working with our tenants to ensure that we can keep our rooms full with paying tenants. We have kept our communication channels open and resolve rent arrear issues.
We have begun to safe guard our business incase we have a second Covid-19 wave as our main business is HMO's. We are questioning if people no longer feel comfortable sharing facilities how can we resolve this - kitchenettes, ensuite, moving towards creating flats??
Emma has also been in dialogue with the council to think about providing social care homes. We wanted to understand how someone becomes a social tenant, what they criteria would be interns of house facilities and what legal requirements that we have to satisfied.
Emma talks through her newly found DIY skills to assist with a single let issues. After a shocking quote we weighted up our time VS paying for someone to do the task and I am glad that we opted to do the task.
The exams for my new qualification has been booked ... so watch this space!
